Box type
This chooser, changes the information displayed on the Content tab based upon the choice you make. By default will be set to Freetext which is where you use the editor screen to set up the content of the box. The only other commonly used option is “Image”. When you make these choices, we find that the content tab contents is fairly intuitive and so we invite you to explore these at your convenience.
Mode
Only two options are provided here:
- Popup
- Page Slide
These are fairly explanatory but note if you change from one to the other on a previously saved popup, the content will be erased. Proceed with caution!
Enabled
As you might expect, regardless of how you set up the other options on the pop up, if this value is set to two “No” then the popup will not appear. This manual setting is helpful if you did not set a timer for your pop up and you now wish to disable it.
Show Title
When you created pop up you always give it a title. Rather than duplicate the title in the popup itself by typing it into the content box, you can use the Show Title = Yes mode to display the title that you created as part of the popup itself.
Test Mode
Not used.
Notes
Occasionally you might have several pop ups all of which are very similar and therefore you can use the notes field to add relevant context if needed.
Color
You might wish to apply a colour to a particular pop up or set of popups. When you do this, and look at the pop up list (see later), that colour will be shown as part of the list.
